Camille's 3rd Birthday!

Camille has a sneaky way of being home sick on her birthday the last 2 years!  Last year, she had the stomach bug and Clayton and I both stayed home with her.  This year, she had the swine flu!  It began in the middle of the night when she was running 102 fever.  She has never had that high of a temp so I called her pediatrician in the middle of the night and said to come in first thing in the morning.  Here she is in the dr office.  They ran a nose swab and it came back positive for the flu.  They also put Eli on Tamiflu to help prevent him from catching it.  The hardest part with her being sick was keeping her from loving all over her brother!  It was a mild case and she was up to herself in 2 days.

Here is a cute little 3 year old!

She enjoyed all her birthday wishes in the mail from her Bubbie, Papa, cousins Asia and Titus and friend, Mylie!

We had to postpone her party a week because she was so sick, but it was a blast a week later!  We had a movie party up at the church with the projector.  We paid for our movie theater food like nachos, hot dogs and popcorn with fake money while watching H*rton He*rs a Wh*.  The kids also made their Hollywood Stars with their handprints and signatures.

Camille could not wait to blow our her candles!  She got one poke in the cake and then leaned all over it while blowing out the candles...red icing always looks good on the front of your shirt!

Pumpkin Comparisons

Here is Eli is the same pumpkin costume Camille wore her first Halloween!  The difference here is that he is 5 weeks old and the costume won't button in the back and he can't straighten out his legs.  We will be getting him an alternate costume to wear on Halloween.  Check out the similarities!  They can't deny being siblings!

Eli - 5 weeks

Camille - 9 days old

IES Sprinkle!

My kindergarten team gave me a "Sprinkle" while I was on maternity leave.  They call it a sprinkle for anyone who has already had a baby.  It was great to be able to see everyone and show off Eli!  My sub (on the far left) was amazing!  I was pretty nervous about leaving my kindergarteners 2 weeks after school started, but I couldn't have asked for a better person!  We hope she gets to join our team next year when we go full day!

Fun with Pumpkins

We bought two small pie pumpkins to put by our front door and I let Camille paint her very own!  It was very colorful and not orange at all when she was done!

We also made pumpkin sugar cookies and decorated them with orange icing and Halloween sprinkles.  This was a no shirt kind of day for Camille!

The Pumpkin Patch!

There is a fabulous pumpkin patch that I have heard about for the last couple of years and have yet to go. Well, we decided to go on the MUDDIEST day ever! Although Camille may not remember it as the most fun pumpkin patch, we still got some adorable pictures! It was so muddy, that Camille actually willingly stayed on the stroller the entire time to avoid getting "dirty!" I hope to go back when she can play in the mazes and bounce houses.
My favorite! I stuffed my diaper bag and blanket down inside the pot so Eli could lay on top. He slept through this entire trip to the pumpkin patch of me moving him back and forth from the carseat to taking pictures.

Fun with B-B!

This past Thursday was my first time to be alone over night with BOTH kids while Clayton went out of town for a conference for 2 nights! As we were getting closer and closer to him leaving, I started to get a tiny bit nervous (ok...BIG time nervous!)! The kids actually did very well the first night and our favorite B-B came the second night! We enjoyed dinner at Rainforest Cafe and then some shopping to top it off. I quickly realize that shopping with 2 kids is not near as fun as shopping used to be! We had a great time and thank my wonderful sister, Brooke for her help!

1 month!

Since we've come home from the hospital, life (and Camille) has been moving very quickly around here!

Eli got his very first documented bath! We missed out on his first actual bath at the hospital (and I'm kind of bitter about it!).
We always have a great big sister helper!

Eli got all dressed up for his first trip to church! He slept and made little noises all through church...very well behaved!
Like mother, like daughter! Camille is paying attention to EVERY little detail! She is taking very good care of her babies as well!
Just a cutie! He is pretty laid back so far...which is what we have prayed for! He only gets mad when he is hungry or sleepy! He definitely enjoys his paci when it's sleepy time!
Nap time on the couch! She looks so big and he actually looks small compared to her!
An officialy 1 month photo. In every attempt to get this picture, he either looks scared to death or mad at the world. I chose the picture where you can see his name on his shirt. Happy 1 Month Birthday, Eli!
